Commissioner Keith Carson

Commissioner Keith Carson is the current President of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, representing the 5th District since 1992. His platform is dedicated to inclusive and accessible government. He brings his experience as an activist, a small businessman, a congressional aide and a community liaison to his work. He is the Chair of the Alameda County Economic Development Alliance for Business (EDAB) and is a member of the Alameda County Employees' Retirement Association. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for the California State Association of counties (CSAC) - a 58 county statewide supervisors organization, a Member of the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority and a member of the Alameda County Waste Management Authority.
